Art. 3: a vast area across three neighbouring provinces. Whole territory of Vittoria, Comiso, Acate, Chiaramonte Gulfi, Santa Croce Camerina (Ragusa) + metes-and-bounds parts of Ragusa (RG); Niscemi, Gela, Riesi, Butera, Mazzarino (Caltanissetta); Caltagirone, Licodia Eubea, Mazzarrone (Catania). Geometry = comune-union of the 5 WHOLE Ragusa comuni only (openpolis WGS84, 51.603 ha); the metes-and-bounds partials are not unioned (honest under-approximation). The Classico subzone = the territory of the original 1973 delimitation (not separately drawn here).
