History
In the late 1970s brothers Ernesto and Remo Sportoletti, building on their father Vittorio's work, turned fully to viticulture, releasing their first thousand bottles in 1979. From vineyards on the Spello and Assisi hills they built a benchmark Umbrian estate, best known for the Villa Fidelia range and a well-regarded Assisi Grechetto, with Riccardo Cotarella consulting from 1998.
