History
Emilio Mannelli purchased the land that became Podere Allocco in 1992 from the Lastraioli family, who had owned it since the mid-20th century, and built it into a small estate near Capezzana.
The property is now run by siblings Alessandro and Camilla Mascelli, who took over the family holding and continue producing Carmignano, Carmignano Riserva and Vin Santo with an emphasis on sustainable, small-batch winemaking.
