History
The Pratesi family have made wine and oil at Carmignano for five generations, since Pietro Pratesi settled at Lolocco in 1875; the first estate-bottled vintage was 1983.
Run by Fabrizio Pratesi and farmed organically, it makes Carmignano, one of Tuscany's historic Cabernet-inflected reds, and the Vin Santo di Carmignano.
