History
Zenato was founded in 1960 by Sergio Zenato with his wife Carla in the heart of Lugana at Peschiera del Garda, where Sergio championed the local Trebbiano di Lugana at a time when few took the grape seriously. The estate later expanded into Valpolicella and became known equally for its Amarone and Ripassa. It remains a family reference for both the crisp whites of Lake Garda and the powerful reds of Verona.
