History

The Mayr family have held the Erbhof Unterganzner at Cardano since 1629, over eleven generations; Josephus and Barbara Mayr run it today.

From about ten hectares they make Lagrein, the Cabernet Kampill, the Santa Maddalena and the concentrated Lamarein from partly dried grapes.
