History
Cantina Tramin is one of Italy's oldest and most acclaimed wine cooperatives, founded in 1898 by the pastor Christian Schrott to protect the livelihoods of South Tyrol's mountain growers. Under cellar master Willi Stürz from the 1990s it became a byword for quality co-op wine, above all its Nussbaumer Gewürztraminer, the most awarded Gewürztraminer in Italy, made in the grape's spiritual home of Tramin.
