Pira Luigi

History

The Pira family have worked the land under the castle of Serralunga since the late nineteenth century; from the 1950s Luigi turned to wine, long selling grapes and bulk wine to the great houses of Alba before bottling in his own name.

From about twelve hectares, half in the Serralunga crus Marenca, Margheria and Vigna Rionda, the estate is run by the Pira brothers with Gianpaolo's family.
