History

The Germano family has grown grapes at Serralunga since 1856, selling to others until the fourth generation, Sergio Germano, trained in Alba and worked at Fontanafredda before returning to bottle the family's own wine from 1993. His single-vineyard Barolos from Cerretta, Prapò and Lazzarito are Serralunga references.
