History

Founded in 1905 by Angelo Ballabio, who set out to make a Pinot Nero sparkling wine to rival the great Champagnes of the day.

Reborn as one of the zone's most forward-looking estates and led today by the Nevelli family (Filippo, Mattia, Alfio and Nicolo), Ballabio is best known for its Farfalla cuvees.
