History
Vigneti Vumbaca is a small Cirò estate run by Christian Vumbaca, who left a legal career in Rome to return to Calabria and carry on the work begun by his mother Silvana and his uncle Enzo.
The six organic hectares are given entirely to native grapes – Gaglioppo and Greco Bianco – trained in the traditional low forms of the area; the first commercial wines, a classic Cirò red, white and rosato, were released in 2019.
