History
'A Vita began with the 2008 vintage, when Francesco De Franco, an architect who had worked for two decades between Florence and San Marino, returned to Cirò to study oenology and revive his family's vineyards. Working with minimal intervention, indigenous yeasts and little sulphur, he became one of the leaders of the 'Cirò revolution' that, alongside growers like Cataldo Calabretta and Sergio Arcuri, restored a lighter, terroir-driven expression of pure Gaglioppo.
