History
Fattoria San Francesco takes its name from the land of San Francesco in the Cirò country, where a monastery stood from 1578 among vineyards and olive groves until it passed out of the Church's hands in 1770.
The winery grew from the shared project of three siblings – Pasquale, Antonio and Rosa Iuzzolini – built on family tradition, and is today among the most respected names of Cirò, working chiefly the indigenous Gaglioppo for its reds.
