Nebrodi Black Pig
A medium-small black pig with stiff bristles forming a mane along the back, raised semi-wild or wild in the woods and meadows of the Nebrodi. It is given supplementary cereals and legumes and penned in small huts, the zimme, only when necessary or for farrowing.
