Capra Girgentana
Girgentana goat
A goat breed named after Girgenti, now Agrigento, and unmistakable for the long spiralling horns that reach up to 70 cm on the males. With those horns and its white coat it resembles the wild goats of Asia, and it was most likely brought to Sicily by the Arabs after 827.
