Cuddrireddra of Delia
A fried sweet from Delia shaped into an elaborate little crown, said to echo the headwear of medieval noblewomen. The dough is durum wheat flour worked with fresh eggs, sugar, a little lard, red wine, cinnamon and orange zest. The dialect name means a small focaccia shaped like a silkworm cocoon.
