History
Giuseppe Damonte founded Malvirà in 1950 when the Roero's potential was largely unknown; his sons Roberto and Massimo took over in 1974 and turned the family's bulk business into a quality estate. A leading Roero name, Malvirà makes single-vineyard Roero Arneis, notably from the ancient Renesio cru, and Nebbiolo-based Roero reds.
