History

Moncaro was founded in 1964 at Montecarotto, in the heart of the Castelli di Jesi, when a group of growers formed a cooperative to give value to their Verdicchio and to the wider Marche country.

Grown to one of the largest wine realities of the Marche — with cellars added in the Conero at Camerano and the Piceno at Acquaviva Picena — it works Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi alongside Rosso Conero and Rosso Piceno across its members' vineyards.
