History
Miani is the cult of the Colli Orientali. Enzo Pontoni farms tiny, meticulously tended parcels by hand and makes only a few thousand bottles a year, releasing nothing in vintages he deems unworthy. His concentrated, profound whites, especially Friulano, and his Merlots (Filip and Buri) and the Refosco Calvari, are among the most sought-after and expensive wines of Friuli.
