Razza Bovina Romagnola

Of the white Italian cattle the Romagnola is reckoned the hardiest against weather. It takes badly to being tied in a barn and well to rough country, which makes it a grazing animal, and it is kept for meat: out on free grazing through the summer on a wholly natural diet. The big chops stand comparison with the far better-known Chianina, and rump or fillet roasted slowly in the Romagnol way is as good.
