Combai chestnut
An ecotype selected in the Treviso pre-Alps by soil, aspect and generations of local tending. It is more demanding than an ordinary chestnut, wanting richer ground, better exposure and more work.

How it is made
Fruit is ellipsoidal with a lowered apex; the hilum has a regular downy outline and a clearly visible star-shaped radiation.
