Garganega

The main grape of Soave in Veneto, giving gentle almond and white-flower whites.

Veneto's most widely referenced white variety in this dataset: the varietal base of Soave, Soave Superiore, Recioto di Soave, Gambellara, and Recioto di Gambellara, and a named component across a dozen further denominations from Arcole to Vicenza, where several disciplinari use the masculine local form "Garganego" interchangeably with the registered name.
