History
The winery was founded in June 1948 when Maddalena Juglair and Rinaldo Nicco bought the cellar in Donnas from Anna Maria Caterina, widow Selve; it is today run by their son Rolando Nicco together with his wife Bruna Merlet and son Jan Louis.
Production is dedicated entirely to Picotendro, the local Nebbiolo biotype, farmed with minimal treatments and native-yeast fermentation, with wine aged in a cellar built into a natural glacial boulder that keeps a constant temperature year-round.
