History
The Grosjean family's roots in the Aosta Valley reach back to the 1600s, when families from Savoy and Burgundy were invited to repopulate the region after the 1630 plague. The modern winery dates to 1968, when Dauphin Grosjean first bottled and showed his wine at the Exposition des Vins du Val d'Aoste; his five sons then built it up, and in 2018 the estate passed to the third generation. In 2011 Grosjean became the first Valdostan winery to convert to organic farming.
