History
Gioacchino Sofia inherited an old vineyard of less than half a hectare at Solicchiata in 1980; his children Carmelo and Valentina, after years at Vini Franchetti, made the family estate official in 2017.
From about three hectares they make the Etna Rosso, such as La Vigna di Gioacchino, and the Etna Bianco.
