History
Assuli is the Caruso family's organic estate near Mazara del Vallo in western Sicily, a modern reinterpretation of an 18th-century baglio now in its third generation with Roberto, Nicoletta and Michele. Devoted to organic wines from indigenous varieties, it is known for its Nero d'Avola (L'Orlando, Besi) and for reviving rare native grapes.
