History

Tenuta degli Angeli was founded in 1984 by Pierangelo Testa at Santo Stefano degli Angeli, in Carobbio degli Angeli in the Valcalepio hills southeast of Bergamo, conceived as a jewel-box estate.

It is now run by Manuela Testa with her children Laura, Roberta, Maria and Francesco, making Classic Method sparkling wines (the Brut and Extra Brut degli Angeli), still Valcalepio reds and whites, and above all a celebrated Valcalepio Moscato Passito from late-harvested, rack-dried Moscato di Scanzo grapes native to the Bergamo province.
