History
The Cavalleri family has held land at Erbusco since 1450, selling wine in bulk until Franciacorta's recognition; father and son Gian Paolo and Giovanni built a new cellar and made their first 6,000 bottles of Franciacorta in 1979. The estate is a Chardonnay specialist, and its Blanc de Blancs, first made in 1979, and the prestige Collezione Esse are references.
