History
After more than a decade as an oenological consultant, Flavio Basilicata and his wife Silvana Forte bought 5 hectares at Prepotto and founded Le Due Terre in 1984.
They were early exponents of low-intervention winemaking; the flagships are the Sacrisassi Bianco (Friulano/Ribolla) and Rosso (Schioppettino/Refosco).
Their daughter Cora, an oenology graduate, has joined the estate.
