History
The Segalini family has made wine since 1894, when Francesco Segalini began selling his production at his own inn in Gropparello.
His nephew Giovanni later modernized the facilities to reach a wider market; today the winery is run by Simone, a fourth-generation family member with a degree in food science, producing Ortrugo, Malvasia, Monterosso Val d'Arda, Gutturnio, Barbera and Bonarda.
