History
The Lusignani story traces to 1916, when Alberto Lusignani was already selling wine toward Salsomaggiore; in 1946 he and his wife Luisa — who brought a small farm of her own — began the family estate that continues today.
Their son Emilio steered the mixed hill farm decisively toward wine from the 1970s, and the estate has stayed family-run across three generations.
Today it is led by Marco, Alberto's grandson, with his brother Enrico and their parents, farming around 10 hectares near the medieval village of Vigoleno and specialising in the local Vin Santo di Vigoleno, aged 8-9 years.
