History
The Troisi family has championed Irpinia wine since the late 19th century; Antonio's forebear ran a wine-import business in New York.
Raffaele Troisi was the first to plant vines at Montefredane; his son Antonio bottled the first single-variety Fiano in 1984.
Antonio's son Raffaele has run the family estate since 1998.
