Albamarina

History

Albamarina was founded in 2008 by Mario Notaroberto, who — after thirty years divided between the Cilento and Luxembourg — returned to his roots to make wine in the hills above Palinuro, at Centola; the name joins his love of the land and of his wife, Marina.

On mid-hill ground between Centola and Foria the estate grows Aglianico and Fiano, expanding its vineyards from 2010, and makes a small range of Cilento reds, whites and a rose — the Aglianico that experts have called the 'Barolo of the South'.
