History
Il Feuduccio di Santa Maria d'Orni was created around 1996 by Gaetano Lamaletto, who had left Abruzzo for Venezuela and returned decades later, as an established industrialist, to build his estate on the hills at the foot of the Majella near Orsogna, consolidating a number of small holdings.
The family — his daughter Laura, her husband Paolo and their children, today led by Camillo — farms some fifty-four hectares and makes wines rooted in the territory, above all Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and Pecorino, from a cellar cut into the rock over five levels, with Romano D'Amario as oenologist.
