History
Masciarelli helped bring modern Abruzzo to the world. Gianni Masciarelli founded the estate in 1981 and, with international grapes, French oak and ambitious single-vineyard reds, showed the potential of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. Its flagship Villa Gemma Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and the Marina Cvetić Trebbiano, named for his wife who now leads the estate, are among the region's most celebrated wines.
