History
Fattoria Buccicatino was founded in 1993 at Vacri, in the hills of Chieti, by Umberto Buccicatino, following the example of his father Giovanni; it is now supported by his daughters Iolanda and Ilaria.
The estate's whole range — Pecorino, Trebbiano d'Abruzzo, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and a small share of Cabernet Sauvignon — is organic, farmed across some twenty-two hectares, with the Montepulciano 'Don Giovanni Buccicatino' among its wines, alongside organic olive oil.
