Monreale White Plums
A white plum of the Conca d'Oro, the valley running inland from Palermo, where more than ten plum varieties once grew alongside citrus, mulberry, medlar and fig. Fifty or sixty years ago the area was one great orchard; Palermo's expansion has taken most of it.
