History
The Zago family bought their Valdobbiadene vineyards and house in 1924 and have farmed them across five generations without chemical fertiliser. Christian Zago, back from a biodynamic estate in New Zealand and steeped in Nicolas Joly, farms biodynamically and is best known for his col fondo Prosecco, bottle-refermented and left undisgorged in the old, pre-modern style.
