History
Cerbaiona was founded in 1977 by Diego Molinari, a retired Alitalia pilot, whose Brunello from the early 1980s achieved cult status among collectors. In 2015 the ageing Molinari sold the estate to an investor group led by Gary Rieschel, with Matthew Fioretti managing it; under new ownership the vineyards were renewed while preserving Cerbaiona's traditional character.
