History

Feudo Montoni is a historic estate in the hills of Cammarata, its baglio dating to 1469 and its wine cited in a 1595 treatise; the Sireci family acquired it in the late nineteenth century and Fabio Sireci is now its third-generation custodian. Its calling card is old-vine, pre-phylloxera Nero d'Avola, above all the Vrucara bottling from an ancient heritage vineyard.
