History
The Romeo family farmed this north-slope land for generations; in 1981 a lava flow stopped just short of the old Nerello Mascalese vineyard.
Rosanna Romeo and her daughter Chiara Vigo refounded it as a wine estate in the mid-2000s, with early help from consultant Salvo Foti.
