History

Villa di Quartu is the wine of the Fois family, whose small Campidanese cellar in the Cepola quarter of Quartu Sant'Elena, east of Cagliari, has passed through four generations. The family began bottling under the Villa di Quartu name in 1994.

From vineyards on the Campidano plain they work the island's native grapes — Nuragus, Vermentino, Moscato and Malvasia among the whites, Monica, Cannonau and Bovale among the reds — in the winemaking tradition of the Quartu district.
