History
Vito and Mila Perrini, siblings running their family's estate at Masseria Carabella near Castellaneta, converted the property's vineyards to organic viticulture in 1993, among the earlier organic conversions in the Salento wine scene.
The estate is imported into the US by Louis/Dressner Selections, focused on Primitivo, Negroamaro and Salento Rosso blends from vines spread across the hills of the Castellaneta countryside.
