History
The masseria at Cellino San Marco was built in the late 1800s for the Marquis Antonio de Viti de Marco and fell into disuse in the 1960s.
In 1999 the Falvo family, of Tuscan origin and former owners of Avignonesi in Montepulciano, bought and revived it.
The 'Askos' line (Greek for 'decanter') bottles nearly extinct Apulian grapes such as Susumaniello.
