History
The Sottimano estate began at the end of the 1960s when Rino Sottimano, fresh from oenology studies, bought a farmhouse in the Cottà cru; he and his wife Anna added plots across several Barbaresco MGAs, making single-vineyard wines from the outset. Now farmed organically with his children Andrea, Elena and Claudia, it is a benchmark for cru Barbaresco.
