History

Paolo Scavino is one of the estates that defined modern Barolo. Founded in 1921 at Castiglione Falletto, it was transformed by Enrico Scavino, who in 1978 made a Bric del Fiasc, one of the region's first single-vineyard Barolos, and helped introduce cru bottlings, temperature control and refined oak. Its polished, perfumed wines from crus like Bric del Fiasc, Cannubi and Rocche dell'Annunziata are among the Langhe's most admired.
