History
Michelangelo Ioppa began the estate in 1852, buying prized Ghemme parcels; the family have farmed for centuries.
Fifth-generation Pietro Ioppa was among the promoters when Ghemme gained DOC in 1968 (DOCG 1996).
Now in its sixth generation under Giorgio Ioppa with sons Andrea and Luca; the estate has grown to over 20 hectares.
