History
I Vignaioli di Santo Stefano was founded in 1976 by two of Langhe's leading wine families, the Cerettos and the Scavinos, with the specific goal of elevating Moscato, a grape they felt was often treated as a commodity rather than a fine-wine variety.
The estate farms 41 hectares split between Santo Stefano Belbo, Canelli and Calosso plus the rented San Maurizio estate, focusing almost entirely on Moscato d'Asti and Asti Spumante production.
