The Galantini family have grown vines at Spigno Monferrato, in the far south of Alessandria toward Liguria, since 1816.
On sandy Apennine-edge soils they work native grapes for Dolcetto d'Acqui, Barbera del Monferrato and Monferrato wines, often labeled in Piedmontese dialect.
