History
Velenosi was founded in 1984 by Angela and Ercole Velenosi, she just twenty years old, starting with two wines from nine hectares in the province of Ascoli Piceno. Driven by Angela's energy, it grew into one of the largest family-owned wineries in the Marche, best known for the Rosso Piceno Superiore Roggio del Filare and for helping revive the native white Pecorino of Offida.
